Susie's Story...
I obtained Susie in 2002 as 6 week old pup. She was shy at first but once she got to know me, she never left my side. She is very active and loves to play ball and Frisbee. She is very independent at times. Ironically she is one of the most loyal dogs I have ever owned. She would be great as a watch dog as she is very alert. In addition, she would be great with children as she is very protective.
She is one of the oldest breeds in the United States brought in by the Spanish during the age of exploration in the 16th century. She is still the favorite of farmers and ranchers today as like the Spanish she is used primarily as a herding dog. I love Susie a great deal so I am hoping to get her a loving and responsible owner.
