My name is Molly. I was recently rescued in Casa Grande after spending the past four (4) years of my life living on a chain. When I was rescued, my face and ears were terribly burned and painful from long days in the hot sun. I’ve spent the last two (2) months in foster care recuperating from my injuries. My skin has healed nicely, and the color is actually beginning to return to my nose. I actually feel pretty again!

I am so thankful for being rescued, and constantly show it in the things I do. I follow my human closely and watch for direction. I’m highly intelligent and visual, mastering several new voice and hand commands within a short period. I am crate- and house-trained, have extraordinary house manners, walk well on a leash with the use of a Halti, and love to snuggle. In fact, I’d prefer to sleep in bed with my new human(s). But, just a warning. . .I SNORE!

My dream is to find a family that allows me to live in the house as a part of the family. But, because I love to play fetch and dunk in the water, a fenced backyard would be awesome! Some of my other favorite past-times include sitting at my owner’s feet, napping, playing with stuffed Kong toys, hiking, and riding in a vehicle (OMG – I’m in heaven while riding – I can’t explain!?). And, by all means, my family should be able and willing to provide me exercise and attention.
I don’t want your pity; I need your leadership and love. Make no mistake, I’ve been to hell and back, but will repay your kindness with loyal companionship and kisses.
